Jason Sherman PGA Associate

I was born and raised here in Vermont. At a young age I was introduced to golf and became fascinated with it. I would go out and play with my stepdad as much as possible, hit balls around the yard and go to the driving range whenever possible. I would caddy for him and his friends on the weekends.

As I got older golf became less important and I started a career in construction, I started a flooring company (Tri-State Flooring) in 1997 and after having success I sold the company in 2004. I then started a construction company until 2021. During those years I would play golf when I could.

In 2015 I decided to take golf seriously again. In 2020 I entered the PGA affiliate program after passing my affiliate testing, I was able enter the PGA program to become a fulltime associate. In July of 2022 I passed my Players Ability Test on the first attempt which is only a 20% success rate the first time. I began working as the Assistant Golf Pro for Country Club of VT that summer. In the winter of 2023, I went to work for David Jankowski at the Golf Garage as a teaching and coaching instructor, where I was able to pass my level 1 requirements to proceed to level 2 of 3 to become a class A professional; I also became a certified PGA golf coach. Golf has always been my passion and Iā€™m so happy to bring my passion to other people as a coach and an instructor.  Now I am currently working as the Director Of Instruction at The Kwini Club and PGA Jr. League Coach in Shelburne Vt.
